      Privacy Principles: BrokeSnake operates on strict data minimization. We do not sell your personal information, profile your browsing, or deploy invasive ad tracking. Data is collected solely to maintain player sessions, verify fair competition, and process Solana deposits and payouts.
    

1. Information We Collect

When you access or participate in BrokeSnake, we may collect the following limited categories of information:

Authentication Information: Your Privy User Identifier (DID) and verified email address (when logging in via Google OAuth or Email One-Time Passcodes).
Gaming Identity & Match Statistics: Player nickname, assigned unique Player ID (e.g., GRK-XXXXX), high scores, eliminations, and match duration.
Financial & Blockchain Data: Dedicated Solana deposit addresses mapped to your account, transaction hash signatures, and in-game EUR ledger balances. We never access, request, or store your private wallet keys or seed phrases.
Technical & Anti-Cheat Telemetry: IP address, browser type, and latency data collected exclusively to prevent automated bot networks and unauthorized server exploits.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

Authenticating your player session and restoring your account upon page reload;
Maintaining the multiplayer match lobby, arena physics, and leaderboard;
Processing entry stakes (€1.00), peer-to-peer friend transfers, and Solana blockchain payouts;
Investigating and preventing automated cheating, multi-account abuse, and system attacks.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure Services

BrokeSnake integrates select third-party infrastructure providers:

Privy.io: Manages decentralized user authentication, embedded wallet keypairs, and OAuth token exchanges. Privy processes data under its own privacy protocols.
Solana Public Blockchain: Blockchain transactions (deposits and withdrawals) are transmitted to the decentralized Solana ledger and are permanently recorded in the public domain.
Cloud Hosting (Railway / Cloudflare): Facilitates high-performance network routing, DDoS mitigation, and server hosting.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

BrokeSnake does not utilize third-party tracking cookies. We utilize browser localStorage to store non-sensitive local preferences (sound effects volume, chosen snake skin, player nickname, and cached friends list) to eliminate redundant network roundtrips.

5. Data Security & Retention

All client-server communications are encrypted in transit via TLS (HTTPS and Secure WebSockets/WSS). Account records and wallet ledgers are stored securely with automated checksum verification.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

Subject to applicable privacy legislation (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to request access to your account data, correction of inaccuracies, or permanent deletion of your account and associated records. You may submit data requests to our privacy desk.
